They don’t get gayer than Ishihara Gōjin; Richard Simons is Snake Plissken compared to this guy. Alex is Richard Simmons compared to this guy.
Ishihara is an incredibly talanted pulp artist, and much of his art could be best described as delightfully gay. As a matter of fact, the mere act of viewing these pictures has most likely bumped me up two points on the Kinsey scale. Alex need not worry; Kinsey never made a 7.
Check out this excellent Gojin shrine, here.
Above: The "true" tale of the Super Mario brothers; Showcasing their rise to fame from homoerotic cabaret all the way up to the Super Mario Super Show.
Above: A delightfully pretty youth, takes a semi naked swim in one of Japan’s fine lakes only to discover it infested with Kappa beasts. No doubt puckering up to suck the poor lad’s entrails out of his anus, as Kappa are wont to do. Were they to attempt that with Gojin-Sensei, they might get more than they bargained for.
Above: Gunbuster to the rescue! Let’s celebrate Gunbuster’s sheer awesomeness with a MECHA CONCERT.
Above: Damsel in distress, Skeleton Ninjas, evil fauna overlord; Pretty self explanatory; no?
Above: Prince, in concert. The concert goers here are similar to that delightful youth who was swimming with the Kappas except that ass sucking is a certainty here, as opposed to a probability.

Awesome post Dane.I never knew Mario swung that way actually.
Imagine all the cool “plumbing” related sex terms and jokes he’s acquired all these years.

Great artist. Its always nice to see a japanese person who dont draw that ugly stereotypical manga/anime way.
And funny how all homosexual men seem to have much better art styles then the mangas about homosexual men who tend to have extremely shit art

This artist is amazing. Just compare it to what others artists from Japan do. No originality, no noses, no muscles, no nothing. This guy really puts a whole lot of detail to everything! My admiration goes to you!

I’m just all the Mario games are in fact “magic mushroom” related hallucinations during his cabaret performances.
Yes, this is REAL gay as opposed to story about gay men written by a young women for other women to drool over.
That Gunbuster poster is a favourate; If I had never seen the anime I’d almost swear that the poster was from the 60’s.
I actually stumbled onto this by accident, I was looking up something abotu Kappa!
