Here you are, Anime Pacific Episode 70, Or…… ANIPAC episode ZERO.

Download it, here.

This is, for the most part, amusing banter for the sole purpose of getting the podcast juices flowing. We shall return proper for ANIPAC Episode 1.

Until then, enjoy. This was made for you, our longterm listeners.

PS. Pay attention to the website of our good chums, The World’s Manliest Podcast; They have a new episode in the works!

  1. Pretty good episode.
What alex said about making 30 minute episodes sounds baaaad. Keep doing em long even if they aint as frequent.

Also, this episode had a distinct lack of progressive-rock. I trust you to rectify that misstake by episode 01 ;)

  2. I think it is safe to say that Dane doesn’t really care about the music. He just finds whatever is free.

Keep in mind that the only music that Dane really likes is Motown (4 tops etc).

  3. NICE!!!

  4. I think Borky wants me to sing some sort of progressive rock ANIPAC theme tune.

I suppose my sexy voice would be a draw to the female demographic who were previously repulsed by some of our less politically correct statements.

  5. Man, either I forgot how funny Alex was, or over the break he honed his comedy skills.

Good to hear from you fellows!
But what the heck was with Alex’s audio? Did his old microphone break, or something?

  6. I was hesitant to download this because , I thought the following wouldn’t be present:

    *No gay zingers
    *No impersonations from Dane
*No Alex whining and blaming Dane for something
*No incredibly embarrassing stories regarding Dane.

Luckily I was proven wrong on all points.
    Good show.

  7. hahah my mic. Yes, the USB mic I was using before was unplugged. I was using the MIC I have in my webcam.

Dane did say that my audio wasn’t as good, but I was too lazy to dig out my old mic and set that up.

After hearing the show, I suppose I should have. But I didn’t think we would go on that long to be honest.

  8. Yes, I’m afraid poor ol’ Eeeper was yet again impersonated!

Regarding the audio quality, It reminds me of that Anime Genesis anniversary special we recorded where Alex had both his good mic, AND his (older crappier) webcam mic plugged in. I apologized on his behalf and stated that although his audio might not be the best, he has done a podcast first: Record an episode on the back of a Sopwith Camel.

I do hope you’ll dig out that mic for the next episode my dear Alex.

And DJ.D, rest assured, even if ANIPAC were an academic podcast on early bronze age pottery, all the elements you menitoned will without a doubt be a part of every show!

  9. Just finished listening to it,and its great to see you guy’s haven’t gone PC on us :D And hey, what would an episode of Ani-Pac be without an Eeeper impersonation? Nothin is what I say.

  10. About you singing an opener. Well it wasnt at all what i was thinking but it isnt a bad idea ;)

So you wont use copyrighted music unless its related to a review?
Well thats too bad. I was more thinking something like this.

  11. hmmm, well if we were going to go that route, might as well go all the way and use something famous.

That link reminds me a bit of Dire Straits, Sultans of Swing.
